Who are you?

What is this site?

This site is basically a way for me to play around with websites, as well as helping others, either with learning, or with projects. Also, if I end up getting a few jobs from it, I wont be complaining.

What do you do?

Well, I do a number of things.
By trade, I am a Doorman, as well as a UK Wrestler.
By hobby (though, sometimes getting paid) I am a freelance Web Developer, as well as usually being the goto guy for computer problems.
I also tend to take photos as well, whether for family or friends.

Why did you start building websites?

I started doing web design in about 2002 after joining an OFP clan I began to create mmissons for the game, and as it used HTML for briefings, it kick-started an interest that goes on to this day

After afew years building basic HTML websites, I started looking into PHP & MySQL, and simply feel in love with them
Since then, I've become pretty knowledgeable in both PHP & MySQL, creating numerous personal sites, for friends and myself, using the combination
In 2005, I transitioned over to XHTML & CSS for layouts, and have not looked back, the markup for all sites & projects I code are always done using these, with the behind the scences using PHP & MySQL

Who do you usually work for?

Usually the people I work for are those I meet in person, I have created numerous sites for friends
However, I have (and still do), worked with other freelancers on various sites

Are there any projects you are not interested in doing?

Yes, I will not accept any project that:

• Encourages actual harm or violence, against any living being.
• Includes material of a racist, homophobic or prejudice nature.
• Promotes, the tobacco/drug trade, antisocial behaviour, destruction of natural resources, irresponsible corporate action or oppression of individuals or communities.
• Promotes, or uses, anything that can cause harm to property

Where are you located?

At present I live in Northampton, Northants, one of the largest towns in England. It is situated just over 60 miles north of London.
